PERMITE DETECTAR EL NIVEL DE INTENSIDAD DE LUZ A PARTIR DE UNA FOTORRESISTENCIA (LDR), RÁPIDA RESPUESTA Y ALTO NIVEL DE SENSIBILIDAD.
El modelo AR-PHOTORESIST es un sensor de intensidad luminosa, el cual esta formado por un fotorresistor (LDR light-dependent resistor), este es un dispositivo semiconductor fotosensible que cuenta con una alta sensibilidad y una rápida respuesta.
La fotorresistencia requiere que sea suministrado un determinado voltaje, cuando no existe luz irradiada, la corriente que fluye se llama corriente oscura. La relación entre el voltaje y la corriente oscura os proporciona el valor de la Resistencia oscura;
En una fotorresistencia, la sensibilidad es la respuesta a la luz irradiada por la resistencia sensible a la luz, debido a que existe un cambio en el valor de la resistencia oscura cuando se irradialuz (resistencia a la luz).
